Peacefully after a long battle with cancer, Wayne went to sleep on Wednesday September 23, 2015 with his family at his side at Hankinson House, Brantford. Wayne McColl, of Burford, formerly of Wheatley, at the age of 72. Ever loving husband of Margaret for 44 years. Proud father of Shona (Michael) McCrea and Wayne Robert McColl. Proud granddad of Sarah and Shelby, and proud papa of Quinn and Kaylee. Predeceased by his parents Harvey & Elva McColl. A gathering of family and friends will be held at the Keith Ovington Funeral Home, 134 King Street, Burford on Sunday September 27, 2015 from 2-4 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations in Wayne’s memory may be made to the Burford Lions Way, Burford Optimist Youth Fund or the Burford Agricultural Society.
