Obituary for Terry Wallace Shaw
Terry passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at the age of 80. A life shortened by dementia. He was predeceased by his parents, Alice & Barney Shaw and sister Shelba Brennan. He will be dearly missed by his beloved wife Gloria (Nesplic) for 58 years. Loving father of Greg (Janet) and Chris (Patty). Grandfather to Brandon (Mariah), Emily (Matt), Callie and Noelle Shaw and Mike and Ben Crocock. Great-grandfather to Gunner and Houston Cartmel.
Terry was a proud farmer in the Oakland-Scotland community for over 50 years. He was an employee of Spaldings Canada before taking over the family farm. Other loves were fishing and hunting with his many, many friends and cohorts.
Friends will be received at the Keith Ovington Funeral Home, 134 King Street, Burford on Thursday May 12, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A Celebration of Terry’s Life will be held at the South Brant Legion, 72 King St., N., Oakland on Sunday May 15, 2022 from 2-4 p.m. As expressions of sympathy donations in Terry’s memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
