We are saddened to announce the passing of our loving mother Sophia K. Bowen (nee Warchenko) on Saturday October 16, 2021 at Hawkesbury General Hospital, after a brief illness. Sophia was in her 88th year. Predeceased by her husband Ronald Bowen (2014), daughters; Linda Marilyn (1952), Laurie Ann (1959) and parents Fred & Vera Warchenko. Sophia is survived by her children: Rhonda Lee Allen Barber (Frank), Astorville ON, David (Karen) Ironbridge, ON, Cyndy Hayes (Terry), Prince Albert, SK, Matthew (Paula), St. Eugene, ON, and Mark (Amy), California. Grandchildren: Seth (Sarah), Ingersoll, ON, Jeremy (Casi-lee), Orillia, ON, Jesse (Amber), Guelph, ON, Zach, December, Christopher, Mackenzie, Elijah, Luke and Zara and great-grandchildren: Tyler, Megan, Abby, Paige, Alaura-ray, Jackson, Addison-lee, Eloise, and Archer. Also survived by her two sisters Helen Bowen and Victoria Riddoch

Friends will be received at the Keith Ovington Funeral Home, 134 King Street, Burford on Friday from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday October 23, 2021 from 12-1 p.m. followed by a Service at 1:00 p.m. Interment Greenwood Cemetery, Waterford.
