Obituary for Ross Watters

After a brief illness at the Brantford General Hospital on Monday November 28, 2016. Ross Watters, of Burford formerly of Etonia, in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Lois (nee Utley) for 63 years. Loving father of Brian & Teresa, Terry & Cathy and Nancy. Cherished grandpa of Katie & Jeff, Kelsey & Scott, Tara & Matt and great-grandpa of Emma, Ava, Maxwell, Tucker. Brother of Lois & Don Brittain, Bill & Sandra Watters, Sylvia & Bill Terryberry. Predeceased by sisters Jean Workman and Betty Shields. Ross will be sadly missed by his many family & friends.

Ross was a member of the Etonia United Church, Honourary Member of the Burford Agricultural Society, Burford Tractor Club and the Burford Township Historical Society. Ross & Lois were recipients of the Burford Good Neighbour Award and he will always be remembered for his willingness to step in and give a helping hand.

As per Ross’ wishes there will be no service. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to the Keith Ovington Funeral Home, 134 King Street, Burford.
