Obituary for Robert Findlay
Robert ”Bob” Findlay passed away on October 27, 2022 at the age of 72.
Bob enjoyed a long career with the Royal Bank of Canada. He spent his time there travelling through Ontario and making many friends along the way. When Bob retired, he devoted most of his time to his three granddaughters Ava, Naran and Ellis. He could often be found at a hockey arena, horse show or various school and musical functions. He also spent a great deal of time walking his dog and could frequently be found walking the dogs of the neighborhood. Bob was well known for cracking a witty joke and was an external teaser, right to the end.
Bob enjoyed a happy 48-year marriage to his dear wife Sandra who will miss him every day. Bob will be forever missed by daughter Marisa and son-in-law David Parker, his granddaughters Ava, Naren and Ellis, his brother Fred (Judy) and brother by choice Kirk McCarthy and his walking pal Cady. He is predeceased by his sister Carol and parents Jack and Alice as well as his favorite dogs Millie, Piper and Gibbs.
We ask you remember him by raising a glass and hugging a furry friend. Please give generously to the Stedman Hospice whose exceptional care was so appreciated, or the Brantford SPCA.
