Obituary for Philip Ian Throop
It is with great sadness the family announces the sudden passing of Phil Throop, of Burford, in his 80th year, at the Brantford General Hospital on Saturday January 29, 2022. Beloved Husband of Sheila (nee Greenleaf). Loving Father of Dana, and Staci (Dan) Leonard. Cherished Papa of Cassie and Emily. Phil will be sadly missed by his family & friends.
Phil was a longtime educator and Principal with the Grand Erie District School Board. He enjoyed cottage life and especially the outdoors including hunting.
A private family service will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Keith Ovington Funeral Home, Burford.
