Phil went to be with his Lord and Saviour on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at the Woodstock Hospital. Phil Ficht, of New Durham, formerly of Woodstock, in his 92nd year. Beloved Husband of Jean (nee Symons) for 69 years. Loving Dad of Louanne (Grant) Schultz and the late Ron Ficht (2019). Cherished Papa of Josh Schultz, Rachel (Mike) Regan. Great-Grandpa of Mia and Molly. Dear Brother of Stanley (Ruth) Ficht. Also survived by sister-in-law Dot (Art) Arnold. Predeceased by his brothers Kent, Howard and Gordie. Phil will be sadly missed by his many family and friends.

Friends will be received at the Keith Ovington Funeral Home, 134 King Street Burford on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the Faithway Baptist Church, 576 Brant Street, Woodstock on Thursday October 27, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Burgessville Baptist Cemetery.
