Obituary for Margaret Rose Tune
With sadness the family announces the passing of Margaret Rose Tune, on Thursday May 25, 2023, in her 84th year. Predeceased by her Husband, Howard Tune (2013). Beloved Mother of Elizabeth Coates (late Peter), Arnie, Allan, Darryl a.k.a George, Sarah Klassen (George) and Barry (Sherri) Tune. Cherished Grandmother of Joseph and Jacob Coates; Liam Tune; Kristen and Zack (Natasha) Mullen; Alex, Tyson, Cayden and John Tune. Survived by sister Joan and brother John (Lillian) Jennings. Predeceased by siblings Ruth Wilson, Connie Wilson and Jim Jennings. Also predeceased by sister-in-law Doris (Jack) Givens.
Margaret was born in Brantford to parents Lydia Gamble and Andrew Jennings. She lived the majority of her life on the Tune Family Farm in New Durham. Margaret had been a resident of Caressant Care Woodstock for almost 14 years.
Family & friends will be received at the Keith Ovington Funeral Home, 134 King Street, Burford on Sunday May 28, 2023 from 6-8 p.m. for visitation. Private family service.
