Obituary for Magdalena "Maggie" Zacher (Seitz)
Peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the Brantford General Hospital on Monday December 19, 2016. Maggie (nee Seitz), of Burford, in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late John Zacher (1997). Loving mom of Caroline & Peter Morrissey, Louise & Don Swayze, Marie & Wayne Reddick, John, George & Jennifer, Sandy & Ralph Meadows. Cherished grandma of many grandchildren & great-grandchildren. Maggie will be sadly missed by her family & friends. Predeceased by her daughter Yvonne Moore (2013), son-in-law Ken Moore (2014) and grandson Paul (1993).
Friends will be received at the Keith Ovington Funeral Home, 134 King Street, Burford on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Blessed Sacrament Church, 183 King Street, Burford on Friday December 23, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. In Maggie’s memory, donations made to “Light a Smile”, the Brantford General Hospital or Blessed Sacrament Church Memorial Fund would be greatly appreciated.
