On July 10, 2021, in the presence of his loving family, Henk chose to leave us, peacefully and on his own terms. Beloved husband of Feika (nee Engel) for 58 years. Loving Dad of Allan (Dawn), Judy (Joe), and Carolyn (Jay). Cherished Opa of Erin, Ian, Max, Courtney, Finn and Ollie. Dear Brother of John (Doreen), Bram (Iris), Bob (Linda), and Edward (Roxanna). Henk will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, family & friends.

Friends will be received at the Keith Ovington Funeral Home, 134 King Street, Burford on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 from 1-3 p.m., followed by a Funeral Service at 3:00 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, in Henk’s memory, donations may be made to McMaster University (Faculty of Science) or the Burford United Church Memorial Fund.
