Gabriel Charles "Gabe" DeMunck
Peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the Woodstock Hospital on Thursday March 9, 2017. Gabe DeMunck, of Burford, in his 86th year. Beloved husband of the late Lea DeMunck (2016). Loving father of Gail & Rick Lee, Henri & Julie, Gabriel & Linda, Phil & Lisa, Carl & Carie. Cherished grandpa of 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Survived by his sisters Blanche Mabee and Laura Raynor. Predeceased by his sister Hilda Miggens.

Gabe farmed and supported developments in the Burford area as well as a former councillor of Burford Township, Director of the Ontario Flue Cured Tobacco Board, and an avid pilot belonging to the Brantford Flying Club.

Friends will be received at the Keith Ovington Funeral Home, 134 King Street, Burford on Saturday March 18th, 2017 from 11-2 p.m. followed by a funeral service to be held in the chapel at 2:00 p.m. As expressions of sympathy donations in Gabe’s memory may be made to the Woodstock Hospital or a charity of your choice.
