Brittain - Dorothy Jean (1919-2017)

Dorothy Jean Brittain (Sibbick), 97 years, entered peacefully into eternal rest on Family Day. Loving wife for 72 years to Russell Franklin Brittain (deceased Feb 21, 2010), proud and loving mother to Robert (Connie) of Kitchener, Bonnie (Rob) of St Thomas and predeceased by youngest son Mark in 1994. To be forever missed by 3 granddaughters and 3 great-grandchildren and always remembered by dear friend Margaret.

Born and raised in the Princeton area, predeceased by one sister, Muriel Lorraine and parents Albert & Leta May.

Cremation has taken place. At Dorothy’s request a private family service will follow in the springtime with interment in Princeton Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Keith Ovington Funeral Home, Burford. Memorial bequests to Etonia United Church would be greatly appreciated by the family.
