Obituary for Dennis Westbrook
Suddenly at his home on Wednesday October 27, 2021. Dennis Westbrook, of Cathcart, in his 70th year. Beloved Husband Judy (nee Barnim) for 45 years. Loving Dad of Shawn & Jen, and Corey. Cherished Papa of Bradly, Makayla, Cheyenne, CJ, Vanessa, Emmett and great-papa of Isabella. Dear son of Mervyn and the late Beatrice (2019) Westbrook. Also survived by brothers Rick, Shawn, Jeff, Kelly and sister Anna Louise. Dennis will be sadly missed by his many family & friends.
Dennis was known as the “Veggie Man” continuing on the family tradition of Westbrook and Sons Produce since 1936. With stands more recently at the Kitchener and Aylmer Farmers Markets often with his next generation of grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Keith Ovington Funeral Home, 134 King Street, Burford on Monday, November 1, 2021 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. As expression of sympathy, donations in Dennis’ memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Canadian Diabetes Association.
