Obituary for Bonnie Sue Wittek (Mills)

Peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family on Monday, August 29, 2022, Bonnie (nee Mills) of Burford in her 61st year. Beloved wife of Ed Wittek for 39 years. Loving mother of Tina (Andrew) Claxton and Valerie (Wesley) Craddock. Cherished Grandma of Abilene and Carson. Pre-deceased by her parents Jack & Doreen Mills, and her sister Brenda Hawboldt.

Bonnie was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church where she served faithfully and was loved by her Church family. Bonnie reflected Jesus in so many ways. She had a servant’s heart, loved unconditionally, forgave freely and had a strong quiet spirit.

Bonnie cared for her husband and her daughters in a deep and special way. She loved watching her grandkids grow and spending time with them. Having everyone around the supper table brought her much joy.

Over the years Bonnie worked and volunteered in different administrative positions and excelled at all of them. At home she enjoyed sewing, doing crafts, reading and gardening. Bonnie and Ed went on many beach vacations together with family and friends. They also loved spending summers at the family cottage.

Bonnie will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

Friends will be received at the KEITH OVINGTON FUNERAL HOME, 134 King Street, Burford on Friday from 5 - 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the Fellowship Baptist Church, 67 King Street, Burford on Saturday, September 3rd , 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor David Virr officiating.
