Peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Sakura House, Woodstock on Friday October 12, 2018. Mark de Koning, of Princeton, in his 57th year. Beloved Husband of Sandy (nee Bucholtz) for 36 years. Cherished Dad of Alexandra and Andrew. Loving son of John & June de Koning. Also survived by his sister Wendy (Sal) Edwards-Sanfilippo and brother John (Michele) de Koning. Dear son-in-law of Bill & the late Ruth Bucholtz. Mark will be sadly missed by his many in-laws, family & friends.
Mark was a dedicated volunteer firefighter for the Princeton Fire Department for over 25 years.
Friends will be received at the Keith Ovington Funeral Home, 134 King Street, Burford on Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday October 17, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Princeton Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations in Mark’s memory may be made to Sakura House. www.keithovington.ca 519-449-1112.
