I had the distinct pleasure of meeting and volunteering with George for many years with the Simcoe Storm. A gentle giant and the best Santa Claus ever. My sincere condolences to all his family and friends.

Dear Karen, Mike and Marc
Just heard of George's passing. So sorry to hear that and our deepest condolences to all of you.
I have many fond memories of George coaching our softball teams in the late 80's. I can remember riding with him from Bealton and hearing about how he just finished some ridiculous shift in Hamilton and would be home long enough to shower and head off to practice or a game with us.
I confess that I was unaware of the sacrifice and dedication that must have taken then. As a husband and father myself now I certainly do today.
I'm sure I speak for many when I say thank you Karen, Mike and Marc for sharing your husband/father with all of us. Our lives were better because of it.

Just saw the notice in this morning's newspaper and shocked to see George's passing. Our condolences to Karen, Mike, Mark and family.
I have many fond memories of George when we worked together in Minor Hockey in Waterford and Jr Hockey in Simcoe. He had a passion for hockey and I'm sure other sports. And a passion for life. The last time we saw each other was in the Foodland in Bancroft. I considered George my friend and we will miss him.

So sorry to hear about George's passing. Sending warm thoughts at this time. We will always remember the warm and funny guy that he was whenever we met in our little corner hamlet of Bealton.
Sincerely,
May and Annette Blazeiko
