John James Schieman
Suddenly, as the result of a farm accident at his home, on Friday, June 8, 2018. John Schieman of Scotland, in his 63rd year. Beloved husband of Janette (nee Elliott). Brother of Dan & Wendy. Dear uncle of Nate & Tracy, Adam & Jennifer. Great uncle of Adrionna and Ayden. Also survived by mother-in-law Dorothy Elliott, brother-in-law Don Elliott. Predeceased by his parents Dan & Reggie and sister Patty, father-in-law Bill and sister-in-law Alice. John will be sadly missed by friends and family.

Friends will be received at the Keith Ovington Funeral Home, 134 King Street, Burford on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday June 13, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Internment Scotland Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations in John’s memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Stedman Community Hospice or the Charity of your choice.
