Peacefully surrounded by her loving family, at Norview Lodge, Simcoe on Sunday April 22, 2018. Betty (nee Newland), of Burford, in her 84th year. Beloved wife of Clarence Stroud. Loving mother of Margaret Kowaluk (Dennis), Esther Gervais (Florin), Lorraine Detlor, Mike (Sue) and Mark (Barb). Cherished grandmother of 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Barbara Barber and Robert (Joanne) Newland. Predeceased by her brother-in-law Keith Barber. Betty will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

Friends will be received at the Keith Ovington Funeral Home, 134 King Street, Burford, on Wednesday from 6-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday April 26, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. Interment Pioneer Cemetery.
