Peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on Thursday, March 8, 2018. Kate (nee Bailey), formerly of Burford, in her 98th year. Beloved wife of the late Ernest Devenney (1999). Loving mother of Michael & Suzanne and Maureen & Louis Martin. Kate was the last remaining of three brothers and two sisters. She married in England in 1945, coming to Canada as a war bride in 1946.

A Funeral Service will be held at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church, 104 King Street, Burford on Tuesday March 13, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations in Kate’s memory may be made to the Holy Trinity Church Legacy Fund or a charity of your choice.
