Obituary for Leslie "Les" Young
Peacefully at his home on Thursday November 30, 2017. Les Young in his 96th year. Beloved Husband of the late Anne (2006). Loving Dad of Brenda Ryder, Wayne (Linda) Young, Debbie McCoy. Dear Grandpa of Dawne, Heather, David, Nathan, Jennifer and Great-grandpa of Sarah, Julia, Jordan, Hayden, Avery, Eva, Daphne, Declan. Predeceased by his parents Neil & Elizabeth Young, brothers; Jack, Charles (Bunt), Vernon (Bus), Norm and sister Jean James. Les will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, family & friends.
Les attended school in Mt Vernon and lived in the Burford area where he farmed alongside his wife Anne raising their three children.
Friends & family will be received at the Keith Ovington Funeral Home, 134 King Street, Burford, Ontario on Wednesday from 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. As expressions of sympathy donations in Les’ memory may be made to the Stedman Hospice or the Brant S.P.C.A. www.keithovington.ca 519-449-1112
