Peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the Norfolk Hospital, Simcoe on Monday, October 23, 2017. Kay (nee Johnson), of Kelvin, in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Earl Maguire (2007). Loving mother of Tom (Darlene), Linda (Danny) Gamble, Gary (Teresa), Kathy Maguire, and Bill (Kim). Proud grandmother of Jason (Candice), Debbie (Matt), DJ (Jackie), Lisa (Steve), Mike (Amy), Jennifer (Rick), Nigel (Sarah), Christie (Brad), Sarah (Steve), RJ (Kate); and great-grandmother of Harper, James, Joy, Paislee, Brady, Colten, Natalie, Lilly, Jamie, Cameron, Ian, Reed, Ace, Tristen, Carly, Taylor, Adelyn, Dani. Predeceased by her brother Bill Homer and sister, Mona Blake. Kay will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, family & friends.


Friends will be received at the Keith Ovington Funeral Home, 134 King Street, Burford on Thursday from 6-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday, October 27, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. Interment Kelvin Cemetery.
