Obituary for Madeline Violet Epps (Jacob)
Peacefully, surrounded by her loving daughters at the Brantford General Hospital on Tuesday June 20, 2017. Madeline (nee Jacob) of Scotland. Beloved wife of the late Laurence Epps and special friend of the late William Taylor. Dearest mother of Barb (Ken) Bursey, Cathy (Jerry) Marinuk, and Gail (Ray) Guthrie. Cherished grandma of Nicholas, Evan, Carly, Hope, Brayden (Garrett Redgers), Landon, and Leaha. Also survived by her sisters Mary McCabe, Helen Crawford, and Marg Schneider. Predeceased by her parents Frank & Barbara Jacob, brother Frank, and sisters Ann McCabe and Elizabeth Feth.
Madeline was a volunteer with the Cancer Society for 25 years and a member of the C.W.L. for over 40 years.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Church, 183 King Street, Burford, on Saturday June 24, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements entrusted to the Keith Ovington Funeral Home, 134 King Street, Burford. As expressions of sympathy, donations in Madeline’s memory may be made to Camp Trillium (Rainbow Lake). Keith Ovington 519-449-1112 www.keithovington.ca
